Installation Tips:
- Simply clean and dry the tailgate
- Degrease only the 3M tape contact area with an alcoholic wipe or brake cleaner
- Test fit and align prior to removing the 3M backing tape and mark with masking tape or similar
- Apply 3M primer to the contact area to promote adhesion
- Remove the 3M backing tape, re-position and press down firmly
- Rub the outer edges with some force to ensure good consistent adhesion has occurred
- If the outside ambient temperature is below 15 degrees warm the contact area and the tailgate armour with a hairdryer/heat gun gently immediately prior to installation
- This promotes improved adhesion
- Ensure the product is firmly secure before driving
