The Ford Ranger Tailgate does not lock via your car's central locking. The Power Lock converts your tailgate into central locking working in conjunction with your existing central locking and existing key fob.
The simple design affords added security and flexibility, you can lock or unlock your tailgate using your key fob or using your key.
The Ford Ranger 2019-2022 tailgate power lock works best when the car is fitted with either a tonneau cover or and hardtop and maximises the security of the pickup.
